Overview
This outline starts and finishes in Gondar over 4 days. Overnight locations, daily travel times and any walking demands are not yet confirmed; the day-by-day itinerary below shows the proposed sequence.
Day-by-day itinerary
A proposed sequence for discussion. Daily access, services and travel arrangements need confirmation.

Day 1
Michibiny to Sankaber
Begin with the approach from Gondar to Michibiny, then walk to Sankaber. The shorter opening stage introduces mountain conditions without treating it as a guarantee of acclimatisation or suitability.

Day 2
The ridge towards Gich
Follow the escarpment from Sankaber towards Gich, taking in the Jinbar Falls viewpoint. The terrain changes between highland vegetation and more open walking country as the route gains height.

Day 3
Gich to Chenek
This stage joins the Imet Gogo outlook with the higher ground around Inatye, then continues to Chenek. The sequence gives a full day to the viewpoints rather than compressing them into the approach.

Day 4
Bwahit and the return
A climb towards Bwahit Pass is the final mountain excursion. A summit attempt is an option requiring separate assessment; the day ends with the return to Gondar rather than an additional camp.
